For the price they are pretty good, but i cant really talk, since im far from experienced and dont know wuts good wuts bad, but for beginners they seem ok. The only thing is that the needle sometimes makes cuts in this fake skin, but that just might be me not knowing how to do it properly. By the way, if the ink isnt comming off, rub sum deodorant and wipe it off.
These fake skins work really well for beginners, im trying to teach my self how to do tats and these come in very handy

Beginner tattoo artist here. Ink registers nicely. I used Dynamic black ink in the photo. Here¡¯s a tip while using it: smear a thin layer of A&D over the stencil before you start and dab with a towel (rather than wipe) as you go. After you¡¯ve completed your outline get some A&D on a CLEAN towel and rub away the ink that smeared around. Repeat the process until it¡¯s cleaned to your liking. It wont be 100% clean, but it will make it clear enough to see where you need to make corrections.

I am still a beginner in tattooing and have been using these practice skins. One issue that has really been bugging me is that these skins do not hold white ink at all. So if you want to practice black and white shading and highlighting the white will not show at all. Doesn’t matter the needle depth, type of needle, speed… nothing will get white ink to show up on this skin.For those complaining about smudges, just use petroleum jelly. Sometimes it can take 3 applications and wiping to remove all of it but it does come off.I’m only a month into it all and I am ready to up my game when it comes to skin. This has helped me tremendously thus far but it isn’t serving the purpose I want to practice right now, white ink.
